What is Music Fanatix?
Music Fanatix is DJ Vicious’s life’s work made visible. It’s not a nightlife brand — it’s a cultural platform built on the understanding that Caribbean and South Asian music carries history, identity, and community. Soca, reggae, dancehall, chutney, Bollywood — these aren’t genres to this archive. They’re the sounds people used to hold onto themselves across oceans and borders. This is the platform that treats them that way.

About DJ Vicious
Born in Guyana. Built in Queens, New York. 30+ years behind the decks with one unwavering commitment to the culture.
DJ Vicious came to music through culture, not convenience. Growing up in Guyana surrounded by soca, reggae, dancehall, chutney, and Bollywood — music was identity, not entertainment. He arrived in New York and carried all of it with him into the Caribbean diaspora communities of Queens, picking up his first decks in the late 90s and never putting them down.
He co-founded Music Fanatix alongside DJ Roy, built a catalog of over 100 remixes and seven CD releases, and ran two of the top clubs in Queens. Today he channels that same depth into livestreams, new remixes, and a platform dedicated to making sure this music — and what it carries — is never forgotten.
